Here is something about turkeys that almost nobody knows: the bare skin on their head and that little flap hanging over their beak actually change color depending on how the bird feels, going from bright red to blue or even white in just a few seconds. That is what makes these turkey coloring pages feel a bit like a game: you get to decide what mood your turkey is in.

We gathered turkeys for every taste: a cartoon one with a huge grin, another with its tail spread wide like a fan, a mother turkey strolling with her chicks and even a few realistic turkeys hiding in the grass. Pick your favorite, grab your colors and get started.

Why is coloring turkeys so good for you?

The turkey is a big, curious bird native to the Americas, and the male makes himself look even bigger when he puffs up his body and spreads his tail to show off. He has a funny walk and an unmistakable call, that "gobble-gobble" you can hear from far away.

Coloring a turkey is a perfect excuse to slow down for a while and focus on something nice. As you decide what color each feather should be, your hand settles, your breathing eases and your mind gets a rest. There is no way to get it wrong here: every turkey can turn out exactly the way you want, and that freedom is precisely what feels so good.
