- Bears are omnivorous mammals. That means they can feed on anything, like meat, insects, fruits, or roots.
- Unlike other bear species, the polar bear feeds on meat most of the time, due to the scarcity of other foods.
- Bears belong to the ursid family, and are classified into eight types of bears: pandas, polar, brown, black, spectacled, among others.
- The giant panda is a species of bear that lives in China. It has a beautiful contrast of colors between black and white.
- The giant panda of China has an almost exclusive diet of bamboo. It is its favorite food!
