Why color the letter u pictures?
The letter U is the twenty-first letter of the Latin alphabet and its last vowel. In Spanish and in various languages, two dots are placed above the letter U (ü), called the diaeresis, and they are used to highlight the pronunciation of this letter when it appears between a G and an E or I.
The letter U was the last vowel added to the alphabet, because before that the letter V was used to serve as both a consonant and a vowel. The letter was written in uppercase as “V” and in lowercase as “u”, until the sixteenth century when both letters were separated.
