Why color surfing pictures?
Surfing is a water sport in which the athlete rides the face of a moving wave on a board. Although it may not seem like it, the surfer only spends 8% of their time in the water actually surfing, since they spend more time waiting for waves or paddling.
The origin of this sport dates back to pre-Columbian times in Peru, where there were vessels called "caballitos de totora", which resembled today's surfboards. It was from the 20th century onward that it began to become popular in California, United States.
Since we know you're a big fan of this sport, at Coloring Together we've taken a journey across the stormiest seas to bring you the best surfing coloring images, so you can enjoy this interesting activity while improving as an artist.
Once you start coloring, you'll notice that beside each of the surfing coloring pages we've left a little fun fact, with which you'll be able to get more familiar with this fun water sport. Are you already excited to start? Excellent! It's time to ride these waves.
