Why color picnic pictures?

A picnic is an activity that involves eating outdoors, usually in a pleasant natural place, like a park. On what occasion do you have a picnic? You can have one to enjoy the nice weather, celebrate a special occasion, spend time with family or friends, or simply relax and have fun.

To have a picnic, you need a basket or a backpack to carry the food and drinks, as well as the necessary utensils, like plates, cups, cutlery, napkins, and so on. It is also a good idea to bring a blanket or a tablecloth to sit on the ground, and a trash bag to collect the waste and leave the place clean.

The word picnic comes from the French pique-nique, where piquer means "to pick up" or "to peck." The first recorded use of this word was in 1694.
Picnics became popular in Europe after the French Revolution, when parks and gardens were opened to the public. Before that, only the aristocracy could enjoy these outdoor meals.
International Picnic Day is celebrated on June 18.
In 2013 in New York the Guinness record for the longest picnic table in the world was broken. This table measured 320 feet long. Incredible!
