Egypt is a country home to ancient, age-old monuments that are still a mystery to humanity. Located between the continents of Africa and Asia, it holds 120 pyramids that even today still keep great mysteries waiting to be discovered.
Its culture began in the Neolithic and evolved over 3,000 years until it was conquered by the Roman Empire and much of its culture was lost. So far the greatest discovery belonging to the ancient civilization was the 250 colorful coffins that contained well-preserved mummies.

- Egypt was ruled by 31 dynasties during its 3,000 years of history.
- The construction of the Egyptian pyramids was not carried out by slaves, although many of them helped with their construction. It was the members of the people of Egypt who carried out the buildings, guided by several professionals in the field.
- Cats were the most revered animals of ancient Egypt, killing one meant the death penalty.
- In ancient Egypt when a cat died the members of the family would shave their eyebrows as a sign of mourning.
- As surprising as it may sound, Egypt is not the country with the most pyramids in the world, that title goes to its neighbor Sudan.

- Egypt had a curious calendar that only had three seasons: sowing, flooding and harvest.
- Pharaoh according to ancient Egypt means "great house" and this was due to the belief that this was the means through which the soul of God was made manifest.

- In Egypt the scarab symbolized resurrection and eternal life.
