Why color PSG pictures?
Paris Saint-Germain was born in 1970, which makes it a pretty young club compared with other football giants. Even so, in just a few decades it became the most successful team in France and one of the most famous in the world.

- Paris Saint-Germain was founded in 1970, when two teams joined together: Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain. That is why its name puts the city of Paris next to the town of Saint-Germain.
- Its crest shows the Eiffel Tower, the most famous monument in Paris. Below it there is a fleur-de-lis, an old symbol of French royalty.
- The club's colors are blue, red and white, the same as the flag of France and the city of Paris.
- PSG plays its home games at the Parc des Princes, a stadium in Paris that holds almost 48,000 people.
- It is the most successful club in France: it has lifted the Ligue 1 trophy, the country's top league, more than ten times.
- Some of football's biggest stars have played for PSG, like Mbappé, Neymar, Messi, Ronaldinho and Zlatan Ibrahimović.
- On May 31, 2025, PSG won the Champions League for the first time, Europe's most important club tournament, beating Inter Milan 5 to 0.
- The club's fans and players are called Les Parisiens (the Parisians) or Les Rouge-et-Bleu (the red and blue), after their colors.
