- Did you know that Winnie the Pooh was created by Alan Alexander Milne in the early 20th century? Milne was inspired by his son Christopher Robin's plush bear to create the charismatic and adorable bear we all know.
- In 1966, Walt Disney Pictures made its first short film about the friendly round-bellied little bear: “Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree”. It is without a doubt one of the great classics of animation!
- “Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree” was the last animated short film produced by Walt Disney Pictures before Walt Disney's death in December 1966.
- Walt Disney Pictures is not the only film studio that has brought Winnie the Pooh to the big screen. The Russian studio Soyuzmultfilm made three feature films based on the books by Alan Alexander Milne between 1969 and 1972. How great!
- Did you know that Winnie the Pooh has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? In April 2006 the character was given star number 2308. Incredible!

Although it has not been confirmed, it is believed that this could be a reference to Frank Sanders, the illustrator who created the drawings for the original Winnie the Pooh books.
