- In Spain and some Latin American countries, the animated series "Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug" is known as "Prodigiosa: las aventuras de Ladybug."
- The original title of the series is in French, it's "Miraculous, les aventures de Ladybug et Chat Noir" and it means "Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir."
- Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug is a French 3D animated series of action, romance, and adventure, premiered in France on October 19, 2015.
- The story and characters of Miraculous Ladybug were created by Thomas Astruc, who is also the director and supervisor of each of the series' episodes.
- Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug is produced by Jeremy Zag (founder of the French production company Zagtoon) and the production companies Method Animation, Toei Animation, and SAMG Animation.
- The full name of the protagonist of Miraculous Ladybug is Marinette Dupain-Cheng. She is a French-Chinese teenager between 13 and 14 years old who studies at Francoise Dupont College and dreams of becoming a fashion designer.
- The co-protagonist of Miraculous Ladybug is Adrien Agreste, a teenager between 13 and 14 years old who attends Francoise Dupont College and, thanks to his black cat ring or "Cat Miraculous," is able to transform into Cat Noir.
- Prodigiosa: las aventuras de Ladybug was broadcast for the first time in Spain in February 2016, through the Disney Channel television channel.
- Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug was broadcast for the first time in Latin America in May 2016, through the Disney Channel television channel.
- There is a Ladybug short in Japanese animation that was leaked to YouTube through the Zagtoon account. It's a trailer that aims to show how a remake of the series in anime style would look.
- The main theme (which is also the opening theme) of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug was written by Noam Kaniel and Jeremy Zag and performed in the Latin American Spanish version by the Mexican singer and voice actress Denisse Aragon.
- As incredible as it may seem, Marinette's hair is black. In the series it looks blue because the designers and animators based it on the art of traditional comics, in which black hair is depicted with blue highlights and streaks.
- In the original version, Cat Noir's name is written "Chat Noir." By the way, did you know that Chat Noir literally translates as "black cat" in French?
- The protagonists of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug represent good and bad luck. Ladybug is a ladybug, which in many parts of the world is considered a symbol of good luck, and Cat Noir is a black cat, which as you well know, is associated with bad luck.
- The name Ladybug is a play on words: "lady" means dama, "bug" means bicho, and "Ladybug" means catarina. Together, they form the name of the heroine "Ladybug," who is a lady dressed as a bug, specifically as a ladybug.
