Why color the sense of smell pictures?
The sense of smell is one of the five senses of the human body, which lets us perceive the smells of the substances around us. The organ responsible for smell is the nose, which contains some specialized cells called olfactory receptors.
These receptors are located in the upper part of the nasal cavity and connect with the olfactory nerve, which carries the information to the brain. Smell has several important functions for our survival and well-being. For example, it helps us detect dangerous substances, like smoke or gas.
The sense of smell is a wonder of nature that lets us explore and enjoy the world around us. To highlight its importance and bring our visitors closer to this sense, at Coloring Together we created this themed gallery, with great sense-of-smell coloring pages.
Plus, above the images you'll find very important information, so that when you finish painting, you'll have acquired new knowledge about the sense of smell and the nose. And the experience will be twice as fun! Are you up for it?
