Why color may pictures?

May is the fifth month of the Gregorian calendar. It is made up of 31 days, and in the old calendar it occupied the third position. Did you know that? Although, unlike the other months, the origin of its name is not known with certainty.

Some researchers say it was named "May" in honor of the Roman goddess Maia. In Maius (as this month was formerly known) a festival was celebrated in honor of Maia, hence the hypothesis that it is named in her honor.

The name "May" comes from the Latin term "maius". It is said that the Romans named it this way in honor of the goddess Maia, goddess of growth, spring, and fertility.
May 1 is International Workers' Day, in tribute to workers all over the world.
May 4 is Star Wars Day. This is an unofficial holiday on which the Star Wars movies and culture are celebrated.
May 5 is Cinco de Mayo, a holiday in Mexico and in some parts of the United States that commemorates the Battle of Puebla. Awesome!
