Why color vincent van gogh pictures?

Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch painter born in 1853 in Holland. He was the eldest son of a priest from whom he inherited the religious vocation, but his family did not have much money.

At 16 he began working as an employee at the Goupil Art Gallery in The Hague, run by his uncle. There his fondness for painting and literature began. He is known as one of the exponents of post-impressionism. After being rejected by the woman he was in love with, he became violent and surly and moved to Paris.

Despite his talent, Van Gogh was not successful in his artistic career during his life. He only sold two paintings in his life and lived in poverty. Van Gogh suffered from mental health problems during much of his life. In 1890, at 37 years of age, Van Gogh shot himself in the chest and died two days later.

Without a doubt a very tragic story! But one that left magical works of art. At Coloring Together we want to teach you much more about this artist, and we believe that with the Van Gogh coloring pages you will learn a lot thanks to the fun facts we added on top. Go for it!
