Do you know when the trade of mailman was born? It was born with the creation of the postal service, in 1716.
Mailman's Day in Mexico is celebrated every November 12. Incredible! It is a celebration in honor of the work they do and that they have done for so long.
In Argentina, September 14 is commemorated as Mailman's Day, in recognition of Bruno Ramirez, as the Official Mailman.
The first mailmen who were assigned in Madrid, Spain, are from the year 1756, and they appeared during the reign of Ferdinand VI. There were 12 of them in charge of the mail in the city.
Before the creation of the mailman service, in Spain there was only a Chief Mailman, who set aside the official letters and made a list with the names of the neighbors or residents who had received one.
The first mailman of Argentina was named Bruno Ramirez, and he was a Spaniard from Seville, and to whom a tribute is paid every September 14.
