We hired this sweet carpenter to help us with some repairs at Coloring Together, do you like the new facade? It was all thanks to him! So as a thank you, we decided to paint him. If you think we have done a remarkable job with the colors, what do you say you give it a try?

We thought it would be fun if we made a gallery just for carpenters, so that is what we did! We grouped together the best carpenter images to color. In addition, we have cartoon carpenter drawings and easy carpenter drawings. Which one do you think you will choose to start with?

Do not be afraid to try new techniques, that is what learning is all about! And we want you to learn a lot. What do you say you start with something simple? You could use colored pencils to paint realistically, or maybe with a little glitter your carpenter will look phenomenal.

Be careful with the wood, if you want to get a simplistic finish you could apply the flat color technique. But there is nothing more fun than making shadows! What if you try it both ways?

Why color carpenters pictures?

When we talk about trades, carpentry cannot be missing. It is without a doubt one of the most important trades there is! A carpenter is in charge of working wood, and creating objects and furniture that are useful for everyone.

For example, the wooden chairs and tables of wood that we use to eat, or the desk where your computer is. Even the doors are too!

A carpenter handles knowledge regarding molding, cutting, and making pieces of wood; in addition, they must know how to join, polish, and waterproof. That sure is a long list of qualities!

Learn while coloring Carpenters

The carpenters' union was created in 1881.
Scientists discovered what is believed to be one of the first examples of carpentry in the whole world. It dates back seven thousand years, and it is about oaks felled by a farmer in the Neolithic.
The word carpenter comes from the French "Carpentier" which comes from "Carpentrius", whose meaning is "maker of a transport".
In a report written in 1999, carpentry ranked fourth among predominantly male occupations. This means that 98.5% of those who make up carpentry are men.
In the past, carpentry was associated with framed posts and beam buildings, a definition that lasted until the end of the 19th century.
