- Among Us is an online multiplayer party video game released between June and November 2018 for the Android, iOS and Windows platforms.
- Among Us was developed by the American video game development company InnerSloth.
- In 2020, Among Us won The Game Awards for best multiplayer game, chosen in part by public vote.
- In Among Us you can play as a crewmate or an impostor. If you are a crewmate, your task will be to keep the ship in top condition, and if you are an impostor, your mission will be to kill the crewmates one by one without being discovered.
- Depending on the platform you choose to play on, Among Us will be paid or free. The free version is available for mobile devices and the paid version is available for PC.
- In a game of Among Us, 4 to 15 people can play. Depending on the number of players, there will be one to three impostors and the rest will be crewmates.
- The crewmates and impostors of each game are chosen randomly by the game's algorithm, which means that statistically, in at least 1 out of every 5 games you'll get to be the impostor.
- Before each game you can choose from more than 15 colors to customize your character's suit, among them: yellow, orange, red, purple, pink, fuchsia, brown, tan, cyan, blue, lime, green, banana, coral, gray, white and black.
- With nearly 500 million, Among Us reached its all-time record of active users in November 2020. By the end of that year, around 60 million daily players were counted. Incredible!
- Did you know that even though a crewmate is killed, they can keep helping the other crewmates with the ship's tasks? The same happens with killed impostors, who after dying can keep sabotaging the ship.
- Did you know that in 2020 Among Us was hacked? The hacker was the YouTuber and streamer Eris Loris, who used the game's chats to send spam advertising his YouTube channel.
