Do you like this sweet Cerberus that we colored? He does not look like one of the fiercest creatures of the underworld, right? We wanted to color a Cerberus that was not so realistic and friendlier than in the stories. Do you like the result?

At Coloring Together we have a very special gallery where you can find Cerberus coloring pages, and this way you will learn about the guardian of the Underworld while doing a very fun activity.

Guess what! We also have animated Cerberus drawings, easy Cerberus drawings, and Cerberus images. The best part of all is that they are all ready to print. Come on! This sweet doggy is within your reach.

Maybe you can tame this beast just like Hercules did in one of his labors, but instead of using violence, how about using paint? Maybe that doggy would like it if you paint him with cheerful colors. Or maybe a bit of chalk in the background to get rid of that stereotype of a doggy surrounded by darkness?

Well! We cannot do anything if you like graphite and prefer to do it in black and white. Even so you can achieve a grayscale that expresses a lot with just one material. In any case, send us a photograph of your finished drawing! That way we will share your version of Cerberus with the world.

These Cerberus images to color are a bit without color. Come on! If you want, you can try painting him. Don't let his big teeth, his three fierce heads, and his deafening barks intimidate you. He is actually quite friendly! We hope...

Why color cerberus pictures?

Do you know which mythology Cerberus is from? He is from Greek mythology, and he is the dog of Hades. According to Greek mythology, for a soul to go to the underworld, it had to reach the gates of the kingdom of Hades that were guarded by a three-headed dog: Cerberus.

It is said that a deadly poison drips from his fangs, and that besides his three heads he has a snake-shaped tail. Another of Cerberus's jobs was that he could not let the souls leave the underworld. He was also the son of Echidna and Typhon. Interesting, right?

We do not plan to throw you into the jaws of Cerberus, but we would love for you to give it a try and paint these Cerberus images to print and color, this way you will be able to learn much more about the sweetest doggy of the underworld.

Well! Maybe he does not look sweet because he has no color, but it will all depend on your creativity to paint him and on how you want him to look. Maybe once you read the fun facts about Cerberus that we gathered at Coloring Together your perspective will change. Will you give it a try?
