In Latin America, bananas go by many names, such as: platano, cambur, banano, gualele, among others. What do you call them?

There are around 1000 species of bananas in the world, and most of them have helped feed a large part of the population. And you, do you eat bananas often?

It's a peculiar fruit that stands out for its sweet flavor and soft texture, which is why it's used in many desserts, a very popular one being the «banana split».
