It's time to learn a little more about one of the most interesting and exciting days of the week. That's right! We're talking about Friday. This is the fifth day of the week in the Gregorian calendar.

It is said that the name “Friday” comes from “veneris dies” in Latin, which means “the day of Venus”. In the Christian religion, on the other hand, it is an important day because it was the day on which Jesus was crucified.

There are so many things to learn about Friday! But we don't have enough lines to tell you everything we know. However, at Coloring Together we always think of everything, which is why it occurred to us to place fun facts about Fridays above the Friday images to print and color.

  8. In Canada, specifically in Ontario, motorcyclists gather every Friday the 13th to go for a ride, which brings together thousands of participants.
  9. In Christianity, Friday is a day of mourning, since according to tradition it was the day of the week on which Jesus was crucified (Good Friday).
  10. On Friday, October 13, 1972, a plane crashed in the Andes, specifically Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571. There were 40 passengers and 5 crew members on board, and only 16 people survived.
